General Questions:

Q1 What is "Hello" Ring?
Ans : With "Hello" Ring service, your friends can easily understand your heartfelt feelings. Your callers can enjoy their favourite connecting tones personalised by you. You can personalise different caller groups and select the connecting tones that your callers would like to hear.

Q2 Under which condition(s) that I will be eligible to use "Hello" Ring?
Ans : If you are 3HK 3G/4G- subscriber, you can enjoy "Hello" Ring after you have subscribed to the service.
Q3 How do I subscribe to "Hello" Ring? What is the service charge?
Ans : To subscribe "Hello" Ring via "Hello" Ring App downloaded from App Store or Google Play (only available for 3HK monthly plan subscriber), or access www.three.com.hk > Content Services > "Hello" Ring Service. "Hello" Ring Service will be charged at $18 per month, for 1 self-selected connection tone and 1 designated connection tone. Another "Hello" Ring Service will be charged at $15 per month, for 1 designated connection tone. Extra download or auto renew connecting tone charge is $6. "Hello" Ring Channel will be charged at $15 per month. Pre-listen Connecting tones will be charged at M (Charges does not apply to "Hello" Ring Subscribers).
Q4 Is "Hello" Ring applicable to roaming situation?
Ans : "Hello" Ring is applicable to roaming and Home Ring Back Tone users. When users have activated roaming and Home Ring Back Tone services, "Hello" Ring will still play the connecting tones to callers according to users' setting in "Hello" Ring.
Q5 Is "Hello" Ring applicable when call forwarding features are active?
Ans : To enjoy "Hello" Ring, you are required to deactivate all call forward settings.

"Hello" Ring Library
Q1 How do I download connecting tone(s) from "Hello" Ring Library?
Ans :
You can download "Hello" Ring App from App Store / Google Play (only available for 3HK monthly plan subscriber), or access www.three.com.hk > Content Services > "Hello" Ring Service, then log in with your your mobile number and password to select and download connecting tones to your "My Collection" and pre-setted to play for all callers.



"Hello" Ring Channel
Q1 What is 「"Hello" Ring Channel」?
Ans :
"Hello" Ring Channel provides a wide variety of connecting tones for user's selection. Each channel consists of 8 special connecting tones which will be automatically updated on every 1st day of the month. Subscribers only need to pay a monthly charge at $15 and enjoy hassle free of updated connecting tone.
"Hello" Ring Channel include: Local Hits, International Hits, Music Mix ,Romantic Song, Witty & Funky, Pure Music, Live Music, Mandarin Hits and Japan & Korea.
Q2 How do I subscribe to "Hello" Ring Channel? What is the service charge?
Ans : Firstly, log in "Hello" Ring App or website, select '"Hello" Ring Channel' in main menu, and then you can choose one or more Channels from different categories in the "Hello" Ring Channel. You can also pre-listen to the latest channel's connecting tone before you subscribe it. If you confirm to subscribe the channel(s), it will be downloaded to your 'My Collection' and pre-setted to play for all callers.



My Collection
Q1 How many connecting tones can be stored in "My Collection"?
Ans : You can store up to 30 connecting tones & "Hello"Ring Channels.
Q2 What is Auto-renew function?
Ans : In general, each selected "Hello" Ring is valid for 1-month starting from the date you downloaded. Auto-renew feature enable the designated "Hello" Ring to be renew upon its expired & keep stored in your "Library". Upon the auto-renew of designated "Hello" Ring is completed, a charge of $6 will be debited to your account while a free notification SMS will also be sent to your mobile phone accordingly.
Q3 Why I cannot activate the auto-renew function?
Ans : If a "Hello" Ring is about to be expired soon, auto-renew system will determine it become unavailability, and thus you would encounter failed to set the auto-renew accordingly. Moreover, please be rest assured that the selected "Hello" Ring can still be valid for 1-month upon the date you downloaded it.
Q4 What is "'Expiry Date"?
Ans : "Expiry Date" means the last date that you can use the selected connecting tone. After the expiry date, the connecting tone will be removed from your "My Collection". If the connecting tone has expired in your caller groups, or the connecting tone playing at designated time has expired, the connecting tones for these situations will follow the setting of "Connecting Tone Playing Mode" in "My Setting".
Q5 How can I preset a time to play a connecting tone for a designated phone number, all callers or Caller Group?
Ans : You can go to 'Create schedule', select a connecting tone or channel, enter a local phone number, select all callers or caller group, then the designated playing time and press 'submit/confirm'. If the phone number is already in one of your caller group, the connecting tone for that phone number will be same as the one in its corresponding caller group when the designated playing time has expired. If the phone number is not in any caller groups, we will follow your selection in 'All Callers Setting' & 'Playing Mode Setting ' in' ''Hello" Ring Options' to play the connecting tone for the phone number.
Q6 How do I cancel a preset time for playing a connecting tone for a designated phone number?
Ans : Log in “Hello” Ring App or website, access "My Account" > "Schedule Time Setting" to cancel the preset time of playing a connecting tone/Channel for your assigned callers.



All Callers Setting
Q1 What is 'All Callers Setting'?
Ans : In 「All Callers Setting」, you can activate 「Automatic Download Function」so that the system will auto-download 1 latest connecting tone from your favourite "Hello" Ring Category every month. And you can select a few of your downloaded connecting tone(s) and subscribed Channel (s) for all your callers.



Caller Group
Q1 How do I add a phone number to caller group? How many phone numbers can be stored in each caller group?
Ans : You can first select a caller group and enter a new phone number and your friend's name and press 'submit'. You can store 20 local phone numbers at maximum.
Q2 What is "Automatic Download"?
Ans : You can activate 「Automatic Download Function」so that the system will auto-download 1 latest connecting tone from your favourite "Hello" Ring Category every month.

Each connecting tone will be automatically downloaded on the first day of each month.

* If you have not stored the connecting tone of 'Automatic-Download' in your 'My Collection', the connecting tone will be automatically downloaded to your 'My Collection' and $6 will be charged for each download.

* If you have already stored the connecting tone of 'Automatic-Download' in your 'My Collection', the connecting tone will not be downloaded again and you will not be charged for anything. However, we will also update the connecting tone for your caller groups and/or all callers.




Playing Mode Setting
Q1 What is 'Playing Mode Setting'? What's relationship among 'Playing Mode Setting', connecting tone in 'Caller Group' and the connecting tone played at designated time?
Ans : When your callers' phone numbers are not in any of your caller groups, we will follow your setting in 'All Callers Setting' and 'Playing Mode Setting' to play the connecting tone for your callers. The setting in 'All Callers Setting' and 'Playing Mode Setting' will not affect the playing mechanism of the connecting tones in your caller groups, all callers or the connecting tones playing at designated time for a phone number.

Noted: If you set 'Designated Connecting Tone', 'Designated Channel' or 'Traditional Hong Kong Connecting Tone' as your play mode, your setting on Caller Groups & Schedule will be overridden.
